-WHO THIS IS FOR

You've tried everything.
You're still stuck.

Most people who find their way to Clear Light Therapy have already done the work, the journaling, the meditation apps, maybe even years of other therapy. They're smart, self-aware, and exhausted. They know what's happening. They just can't make it stop.

  • You've been told "just don't worry" more times than you can count.

  • Your anxiety shows up as physical symptoms, heart racing, chest tight, can't breathe.

  • You avoid things, situations, foods and your world keeps getting smaller.

  • You seek reassurance constantly, from people, from Google, from yourself and it never lasts.

  • The intrusive thoughts terrify you and you don't understand why your brain does this.

  • Your relationship with food, your body, or exercise feels completely out of control.

  • You're high-functioning to the outside world and completely exhausted on the inside.

"I built this practice because I believe anxious, exhausted people deserve more than sympathy. They deserve a real path forward."

If your world has been slowly shrinking, places you won't go, things you won't do, thoughts you can't stop, that's not a character flaw. That's a pattern. And patterns change.

CLEAR LIGHT VS. AVERAGE TALK THERAPY

The difference is
measurable.

Talking about anxiety every week isn't the same as treating it.

Here's what's different.

OUR METHOD

Most therapy teaches
you to cope.
We retrain your brain.

Using evidence-based ERP and ACT, we go after the patterns, not just the symptoms. You'll always know where you stand. Treatment has clear goals and measurable progress.

01: Free 15-Minute Consultation

We learn about you, explain our approach, and make sure we're the right fit before you commit to anything.

02: Comprehensive Assessment

We map the exact patterns driving your anxiety or disordered eating — no guessing, no generic treatment plans.

03: Active, Goal-Directed Treatment

8–16 sessions of ERP, ACT, or both. You practice facing fear in controlled, supported ways until your brain learns a new response.

04: Lasting Change

We don't just manage, we resolve. Most clients leave with a life that's genuinely bigger than when they started.

Questions people ask before booking.

What's the difference between ERP and regular talk therapy?

Talk therapy helps you process and understand your experiences. ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) actively changes how your brain responds to fear. Instead of talking about anxiety, we practice facing it, in a structured, safe way, until the fear response diminishes. For OCD and anxiety disorders, ERP has the strongest evidence of any treatment approach.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on the severity and how long anxiety patterns have been in place. Many clients notice meaningful change within 8–16 sessions. OCD and eating disorders often require longer treatment. Unlike open-ended therapy, we set goals and track progress, you'll always know where you stand.

Do you take insurance?

Clear Light Therapy is an out-of-network provider. You pay at the time of service, and we provide detailed superbills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Many clients with PPO plans receive 50–80% reimbursement. We recommend calling your insurance to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first session.

Is ERP going to make my anxiety worse at first?

Honest answer: ERP involves discomfort, intentionally. You'll face things that feel scary. But it's done at a pace you control, with full support, and the discomfort decreases rapidly as your brain learns the feared outcome isn't happening. Most people feel significant relief within a few sessions of exposure work.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes. Dana offers both in-person sessions in Englewood, NJ (Bergen County) and virtual therapy for clients anywhere in New Jersey, including Bergen, Hudson, Morris, and Monmouth counties. Telehealth ERP is highly effective, many clients prefer it.

Most therapy teaches you to cope with anxiety. We retrain your brain to stop creating it. Using evidence-based ERP and ACT, we go after the patterns, not just the symptoms.
